The Matsuura-Tou Experience is what we call individual or group programs. The "Matsuura-Tou" was a group of warriors, and one of Japan's three major naval forces, fighting in the Genpei War and Mongol invasion of Japan. Matsuura-Tou were a legion of feudal lords that reigned over the lands from the western area of Fukuoka Prefecture to the Goto Archipelago, and to Omura City in Nagasaki Prefecture to the south. They were people of our beloved sea. They operated as an independent body, free from east Asia, with no superior or inferior ranks. They managed matters in 13 regions through joint coordination. In their spirit, the programs have been named the "Matsuura-Tou Experience".
The Matsuura-Tou Hometown Honnamon Experience is the name for a school or general public group program. We dared to give it the Matsuura name, a name representing a group of equal and independent warriors fighting in the Genpei War and Mongol invasions, and the name "Honnamon" meaning "the real thing", to differentiate this program from other, run-of-the-mill type programs.
The Matsuura-Tou Experience Group has the Matsuura-Tou Hometown Honnamon Experience. It is not a one-off, watered-down program, but instead is based around everyday occupations.
